Admiral Insurance has appointed Audatex as its new approved provider of vehicle repair estimating.

60% of its 168-strong repairer network already use AutoClaims, while others have access to AudaWorkstation.

Dave Walker, Admiral's claims manager said: “Repairers have traditionally had to invest in a number of different estimating systems in order to satisfy the requirements of their various work providers. We have listened to what our repairers have to say and we're trying to help by being flexible. Those that don't already use AutoClaims can use Audatex – either via the web or AudaWorkstation. Similarly, if they have reason to switch systems, the choice is theirs.”

Audatex has installed its AudaWorkstation with imaging, at Admiral's motor engineers' centres in Cardiff and Swansea and is rolling it out to repairers with immediate effect. Admiral believes the availability of the Audatex Estimating On-Line application, which allows repairers to create estimates via the internet on a pay-per use basis, will be of particular benefit to its lower volume repairers.
