A workshop to provide the latest information on the End of Life Vehicles Directive has been organised by the Surrey Institute of Art and Design University College.

Being held on November 21, the workshop will bring together speakers from the DTI, Ford Motor Company, European Metal Recycling and Woking Borough Council.

The aim is to provide an overview of governmental, industry and local authority responses to the directive, due for implementation in the UK, by April 2002, and the ways in which it will be executed and enforced.
