Vauxhall has appointed a new national van sales manager, Ian Hucker.

"This year – our 'year of the van' – has been one of preparation, launching the freshest and most modern products in the industry, so we will be ready to roll next year. We now have a presence in most of the major segments of the van market," he said.

Mr Hucker, who has been with Vauxhall since 1992 replaces Jonathan Akeroyd who has moved to General Motors headquarters in Detroit.
