The British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association is joining forces with BCA to remarket its members' ex-lease cars at uniquely branded auctions.

The BVRLA Quality Assured Sale will feature vehicles sourced only from BVRLA members, including associats. The sales will take place weekly in regular, prime-selling slots alongside other direct-entered high demand vehicles from fleet sources, giving BVRLA members access to a fully branded, extensively promoted remarketing platform, underpinned with the BVRLA seal of quality.

The sales will held throughout BCA's 23-site UK network.

BCA is introducing a national marketing campaign to promote the sale to its buyer base of over 25,000 account card holders, with a planned programme of direct-mail, telesales, regional and motor trade press advertising, e-mail and internet promotion.

Vehicles entered for this programme will come with warranted mileage, registration documents, a full service history, MoT where applicable and Radio Security Code and master keys, where appropriate.

All cars will be sold on a BCA Engineers Report and will be prepared to an agreed standard before sale.

BCA's Tom Madden commented “We have worked hand-in-hand with the BVRLA to develop a sales programme for the membership that delivers all the benefits and low costs you might expect as a large volume vendor, while enjoying the flexibility that an open sale programme can bring. Even if you only sell one car a year, you still get access to a sales programme that gets nationwide sales support, advertising and promotion, with a loyal buyer base ready to bid strongly for your product. It must be the best deal in the motor industry!” The BVRLA's director general, John Lewis said: “The residual value is a critical factor in whole life costs and any service that can help at this critical time is to be welcomed. Ex-lease vehicles are among the most sought after at auction and this programme will give all BVRLA Members excellent opportunities for re-marketing their disposals in the best possible circumstances.”
