Inchcape Retail has restructured its management structure in the light of its recent acquisition of Bates Motor Group.

With immediate effect Kevin Walter, former Bates MD for 11 years, has been appointed as Audi franchise director.

Former Bates' operations' director David Vickers has been appointed as Jaguar franchise director.

Finally, John Dowell has been appointed as the new general manager for Inchcape Volkswagen-Telford and Bridgnorth. He joined Inchcape Retail in March 2000 as general manager for Vincents Audi-Shrewsbury.

Inchcape Retail currently operates 57 dealerships covering 18 franchises including Audi at 6 sites (Docklands, Exeter, Harold Wood, Shrewsbury, Southend and Swindon) and Jaguar at 6 sites (Cheltenham, Gilford, Norwich, Nottingham, Southampton and Worcester).
