The Rover multi-dealership Station Garage (Leyland) Ltd, based in Preston, Chorley and Leyland, has been placed in the hands of administrators, BDO Stoy Hayward.

The business, which turns over more than £50 million annually in new and used motor vehicles, has suffered badly as a result of the economic conditions which are buffeting the motor trade.

Dermot Power, partner in BDO Stoy Hayward, advised would-be purchasers that each of the units would be offering "extremely competitive deals on both new and used cars and that all the usual warranty and part exchange deals would be available and would be guaranteed directly by the manufacturers".
