Lookers has restructured its management team giving it a firm platform for expansion.
Deputy chairman and chief executive officer Fred Maguire becomes executive chairman, with responsibility for corporate strategy, acquisitions, franchising relationships with manufacturers and shareholder relations. Chairman Craig McKinney takes on the role of deputy chairman.
Ken Surgenor, managing director of Lookers' Charles Hurst dealer business in Northern Ireland, becomes group managing director. Andrew Bruce leaves his role of sales director at Land Rover UK to become operations director at Charles Hurst.
Lookers said the changes completed its motor division management team following the recent appointments of operations directors Brian Schumacker and Mark Kass.
