DC Cook has teamed up with communications company Ntl to sell new and used cars via interactive TV from next month.
Shoppers will be able to choose from DC Cook's stock of new and used cars, search for car parts and arrange finance, insurance, warranty and roadside assistance.
The new service will initially appear on the shopping channel Ntlworld and features interactive payment.
Colin Hull, DC Cook Interactive director, said: “The DC Cook Interactive proposition is the first total motoring package of its kind to be offered online via the TV or the PC.” After the launch DC Cook will roll out its services to Ntl's digital cable platform.
