Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst has appointed Phillippe von Stauffenberg to develop its Glass's Holdings division, replacing Robin Oliphant, who becomes group chairman.

Mr Stauffenberg, chief executive officer, plans to exploit a “wealth of opportunities” in the UK and mainland Europe. The group publishes Glass's Guide and produces the Glassmatix bodyshop estimating system and BodyMaster management system.
