Car superstore group Autolink has opened its third site in the South-east as it plans to “corner the market in affordable cars”.
The new outlet, in Chingford, London, can accommodate 350 used cars on the four-acre site, and includes aftersales and MoT facilities to help encourage customer loyalty. It joins premises in Maidstone and Southampton and the three superstores are expected to retail 7,000 used cars this year.
Autolink is a subsidiary of Automotive Group, and operates parallel to importer MCL. Board members include David Heslop, MCL managing director. It is owned 40% by Inchcape and 60% by Japanese trading giant Itochu.
