Marshall Motor Holdings has acquired the six-dealership Tim Brinton Group, according to industry sources. Neither company would confirm the move.

Cambridge-based Marshall is the 26th largest UK motor retail group by turnover, according to the AM100. Annual sales total £332m.

Tim Brinton Group, also with a Cambridge base, has four Peugeot dealerships, one Vauxhall and one Citroen.
