Motor Vehicle Technician - Guildford

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Service Motor Vehicle Technician

MUST hold a full UK driving licence

Have your own tools (desirable)

The ability to interact with customers friendly and effectively

Experience of working in a team

To be able to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your own work

To behave in accordance with our clients core values and principles, and treat people with respect and courtesy.

The willingness to constantly learn and be able to improve your own performance

A current/valid MOT licence preferred but not essential

Must be a qualified Mechanic with a minimum of 4 years' experience).

Role: -

Carry out Services and maintenance along with other Motor Vehicle Technician duties to high manufacturers standards

Tyres, Wheel Alignment, Exhausts, Batteries, Welding / Cutting, Basic & Advanced Suspension and Basic & Advanced Brakes.

The ideal candidate would be a team player who is happy to help work colleagues

To conduct MOT inspections, issue MOT documentation, ensure security of MOT certification process and implement the MOT scheme in compliance with Vehicle & Operator Services Agency (VOSA) and company requirements.

Salary:

£30k basic plus a realistic bonus, OTE £35k

Working hours/days

Mon to Fri 8am to 6pm

Saturday 8:30am to 2pm

Every other Saturday morning (paid additional)
