Audi’s A1 supermini has been on the UK market for more than a year now and the German brand continues to use innovative devices to sustain its interest.
One such device is this Competition Line derivative.
Perhaps designed for the customer who would love to be noticed in an R8, but hasn’t quite the budget, these styling options are created from a range of Audi accessories inspired by the original Audi sport Quattro.
The exterior styling package allows buyers to customise their A1 with enhanced sport body styling, including front spoiler, double blade roof spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser in gloss black and stainless steel tailpipe trims, plus bigger alloy wheels.
Audi Sport lettering and a figure one on the bonnet and doors complete the motorsport look. Interior details finish the look.
Performance from its 1.4TFSI engine is decent, with it achieving a 8.9-second 0-62mph sprint to fulfil that need for speed while recording sensible emissions of 124g/km and 53mpg combined fuel economy.
At £18,695, including a £1,225 optional leather interior, this is Audi fun on a budget.
