Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has launched its first plug-in hybrid version of its California campervan starting from £71,295.
The brand is backing the new variant with 0% finance for hire purchase with a special offer until June 30 to tempt customers before the summer holidays.
Prices range up to £85,395 for the top of the range California Ocean trim.
Each California eHybrid comes with a 1.5 TSI petrol engine combined with a 19.7kwh battery and offers up to 54 miles of zero tailpipe emission driving.
The new model has a towing capacity of up to 1,600kg.
All variants also benefit from Volkswagen’s 5+ Promise standard Warranty and Service Plan, at no extra cost, for peace of mind.
The plan includes five services (comprising three oil Services, two oil and inspection services with pollen filter), a five-year Warranty, and five years’ roadside assistance.
