Steer Automotive Group has bought LCV repair specialist Carcomm Coachworks.

Carcomm operates from a 55,000 sq ft facility in Heathrow, providing services for LCVs as well as HGVs, public transport, and specialist agricultural and roadside maintenance vehicles that support emergency services.

Known for its expertise in complex, large-scale projects, Carcomm has pioneered the Elite Truck standard across the commercial vehicle repair industry.

Jason Mole, managing director of Carcomm, will continue in his role while also taking on the position of commercial vehicle managing director at Steer.

John Breeney, site manager at Carcomm, will remain responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring business continuity.
