Škoda Auto is accelerating its electrification strategy with the unveiling of the latest iteration of its best-selling Enyaq family.

The updated Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé introduce Škoda’s Modern Solid design language which features a glossy black Tech-Deck Face and LED Matrix headlights. A new Olive Green colour option makes a debut while improved aerodynamics reduce the drag coefficient to 0.245 for the standard Enyaq and an even lower 0.229 for the Coupé.

Standard equipment now includes heated front seats and steering wheel, tri-zone climate control, predictive adaptive cruise control, and keyless entry with a walk-away function. Enhanced digital capabilities include the new Remote Park Assist and Remote Trained Parking systems, controlled via the MyŠkoda app.

The new models will also feature an upgraded interior, available in six different design selections, using eco-friendly materials, while the Suite Cognac Design Selection uses leather.

“The new Enyaq represents the next step in our e-campaign,” said Martin Jahn, Škoda board member for sales and marketing. “Following its predecessor's impressive performance, we’re confident that this second-generation Enyaq will continue to outperform the market, providing customers with a vehicle that’s not only stylish and comfortable but also highly efficient and sustainable.”

The range offers two battery sizes and three powertrain variants, including a top-tier Enyaq 85x with an additional front motor for all-wheel drive. The Enyaq offers performance with outputs ranging from 204 PS to 286 PS (150 kW to 210 kW) and a maximum range of up to 365 miles (587 kilometres). Improved charging technology allows the Enyaq to be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in 28 minutes or less, thanks to a maximum charging rate of up to 175 kW.

For UK buyers, the new Enyaq family will be available in three trim levels: SE L, Edition, and SportLine. The SE L trim serves as the entry-level model, and includes a 13-inch infotainment display and LED headlights. The Edition trim adds 19-inch alloy wheels and LED Matrix headlights, while the SportLine trim includes black detailing, larger alloy wheels, and progressive dynamic steering and sports suspension.

The Enyaq now also features advanced assistance systems as standard, including Blind Spot Detection, Crew Protect Assist, and Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control. The redesigned MyŠkoda app offers new digital features such as predictive maintenance, which monitors vehicle and alerts owners to potential issues.

Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Škoda Auto, said: “Since their launch in 2020, the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé have become a key player in making e-mobility accessible to over 250,000 customers across Europe. With the new Enyaq, we’re taking this success further, offering a stylish new design, more comprehensive standard equipment, and enhanced digital capabilities that make the Enyaq an even more appealing choice for customers.”
