Renault is preparing to launch three new electric vans in the UK market from next year called the Estafette, Goelette and Trafic.

The three vehicles are the result of a collaboration with Flexis, the independent company founded by Renault Group, Volvo Group and CMA CGM Group.

The Trafic E-Tech electric will lead the line as Renault’s medium sized van, while the Goelette and Estafette will complement the line-up with more specialist conversion vans to cater for multiple different fleet uses.

The Goelette name has been resurrected from 1956 and this new electric reincarnation will come in three versions: chassis cab, box and tipper.

The Estafette E-Tech is described by Renault as a contemporary reboot of its 1960s van, “tailored to the demands of modern urban logistics”.

The new vehicle range will be built in France, at the Sandouville plant, and is set to arrive on the market from 2026.

Renault will reveal details on specification, EV driving range and pricing “in the coming months”.
