Online vehicle remarketing company Adesa UK has appointed Eddie Thomson as its new head of business development.
Thomson joins from BCA where he was sales and operations director for Scotland, prior to which he was national operations director for SMA Vehicle Remarketing.
He will lead the next stage of Adesa’s growth by strengthening key partnerships and recruiting more leasing companies, fleets, OEMs and dealers to its digital-only Upstream remarketing platform.
Jonathan Holland, Adesa UK managing director, said: “Eddie is a highly experienced remarketing professional who will help accelerate Adesa UK’s digital remarketing strategy and create a more engaging marketplace for buyers and sellers.
“Strengthening our remarketing partnerships means more opportunity and more inventory for dealers to source fresh stock for their forecourts.”
Thomson said he relishes the opportunity to work for a digital remarketing company at a time when transacting online has become the new default route for vendors and buyers.
