Dekra Automotive has appointed former Inchcape sales director Jonathan Stevens as its new head of sales.

The vehicle inspections specialist’s new recruit, who has also worked as Toyota’s head of UK network operations during a career spanning 35 years, has been tasked with leading the business’s growth in sales and support to key motor manufacturers and support suppliers in the Automotive Sector.

Commenting on his new role, Stevens said: “I am delighted to take up this new position, supporting our key customers and to develop new opportunities and clients within DEKRA Automotive.”

Stevens’ previous experience within Dekra has seen him lead the Mitsubishi Fleet sales programme and his international sales and aftersales experience will prove valuable in supporting all the key sectors of the industry, a statement issued by the business said.
