Stoke Audi parts apprentice Tanya Pickering has been recognised by Audi UK with a Spirit of Audi Award.

The award was given following an Audi UK outward bound trust course for which Swansway Motor Group employee Pickering (pictured) was commended for her passion and spirit.

Volkswagen Group’s training manager Jonny Connelly said: “Tanya was one of the shining stars of the outward bound course. She really impressed with how passionate, spirited and driven she was throughout the week and Audi UK will be recognising Tanya with an Audi Spirit Award”.

Audi UK sent Pickering ten large cakes, allowing her to celebrate her win with her colleagues.

Swansway director David Smyth said: “This is  what makes running this business so rewarding; seeing a young person like Tanya, blossom and to help them reach their potential; it’s great and I’m extremely proud of Tanya’s achievement”.
