Seat UK has appointed Sam Hothi to the role of rental and Motability manager within its successful UK fleet team.

Moving up from his position as area sales manager, Hothi will lead sales into existing and prospective rental partners and oversee customer service initiatives as well as overseeing the extended four-day test drive scheme’s fleet of vehicles.

Hothi brings broad experience in the fleet sector to the team, specifically in sales and planning, having previously worked for Motability Operations.

He will report to head of fleet and business sales, Peter McDonald. 

Hothi said: “This is a genuinely exciting time to be part of the Seat brand. Its products are hitting the mark, and we are receiving strong feedback from existing customers as well as feverish interest in new models.

“I am looking forward to implementing our rental and Motability strategy, while improving service levels even further – we are constantly striving to refine our service.”

Building on the success of its fleet operations, Seat UK recently announced an extension of its four-day test drive initiative and the introduction of the Fleet Excellence scheme to support dealers which sell to businesses.
