Stephen McNeney has been appointed as the new account manager for the RAC Approved Dealer Network.

He will be promoting and selling its warranty products and the RAC BuySure scheme to selected dealers in Aberdeenshire.

He is the third member of the team created to cover Scotland, joining Neil Miller, who heads up the region and Derek Moyes, who looks after the west.

McNeney has a career in the motor industry dating back to 1978, having worked at a range of dealers including the Jim Clark Group.

He said: “We are very positive about the opportunities that exist in Aberdeenshire, especially among independent dealers.”
