Honda has appointed Rebecca Stead as its new head of network development as it bids to “grow its business in all sectors.”
Stead, who has spent 19 years working for Honda (UK), most recently led the corporate affairs and events team after spending 12 years in sales operations, will assume responsibility for cars, motorcycles and power product divisions with immediate effect.
Philip Crossman, Honda (UK) managing director, said: “Rebecca will ensure that all business areas are in the best shape to meet the competitive environment they operate within.
“Customer preferences and trends are rapidly changing with routes to market quickly evolving.
“The reform of our individual franchises and quality of our representation is core to ensuring we are ready to embrace developing market conditions.”
Honda (UK) recently celebrated 50 years in the UK and is currently preparing for the introduction of a raft of new products onto the market, including: a new robot mower; TT Fireblade special and black edition Fireblade motorcycles; and the highly-anticipated NSX supercar.
Stead said: “I’m very much looking forward to developing and supporting the networks as Honda (UK) looks to grow its business in all sectors.”
