Swansway Group has promoted John Doorbar to head of business at Crewe Audi from his current role as general sales manager.

The appointment follows on from Swansway’s appointment of John Nimbley as head of business at its new Stafford Land Rover showroom. Nimbley was the previous head of business as Crewe Audi.

Doorbar has been with the Audi brand for 19 years and originally joined the Crewe centre as new car sales manager in 2013.

Doorbar said: “ has always been my goal, so the sense of achievement is immense.

“I consider myself extremely fortunate to have such a strong team running the centre and I know that together we can carry on delivering an excellent customer experience across all areas.”

Swansway has a “grow your own” philosophy at the group and wherever possible promotes from within.
