Ford has unveiled the latest version of its best-selling car, the Fiesta supermini.
The facelifted model will arrive in UK dealerships in early 2022, priced from £16,620.
Updates include a revised front end design and new technology and safety features.
A new front bumper and sleeker LED headlights form part of the most noticeable visual changes. There is also a new grille with an integrated Ford logo.
The Fiesta's powertrains are carried over from the previous model, having been updated last year.
A pair of mild-hybrid EcoBoost units, offering 125PS and 155PS, are likely to be the most popular.
There is also an entry-level EcoBoost motor with 100PS. All three use the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine.
The Fiesta ST retains its 1.5-litre engine, but gets a torque boost to 320Nm.
When the new car goes on sale, the familiar Trend, Titanium and ST Line trims will be offered alongside the Active compact SUV variant.
The range-topping Vignale trim has been removed, with the name plate retained for a Vignale option pack that will add additional features to the Titanium, ST Line and Active models.
Among the new features for the 2022 Fiesta facelift are a digital instrument cluster and a Wrong Way Alert system that will warn the driver if they continue to drive past a no access sign.
The new Fiesta is available to order now.
