Mitsubishi has confirmed pricing for the heavily revised the ASX compact crossover, adding a new engine, all-wheel-drive and new bodywork.
It costs from £20,295 on-the-road. External revisions bring the car’s looks in line with the new Outlander and Eclipse Sport.
The ASX now provides a broader and bolder look, with full LED lighting.
It has a new 2.0-litre petrol engine that is 30% more powerful, with 150PS. It can achieve up to 37mpg and has CO2 emissions of 161g/km.
Front-wheel-drive versions come with a five-speed-manual, while the all-wheel-drive version comes with a CVT.
Towing capacity for both versions is 1,300Kg.
The interior of the Mitsubishi ASX has been upgraded with "finer grade" materials. These are complemented by a black cloth headlining and small detail changes such as the new ergonomic air-conditioning and heater controls which are now finished in piano black and silver.
The centre instrument panel also benefits from a piano black finish and now incorporates a new larger eight-inch Smartphone Link Display Audio (SDA) system, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and DAB.
There are two trim levels. The Design comes with heated seats, cruise control, climate control and keyless entry.
Dynamic versions additionally feature leather upholstery, panoramic roof, satnav and blind spot monitor.
The 2020 Mitsubishi ASX is available to order now. The car is offered through Mitsubishi's online sales platform as well as in dealerships.
