Mitchell Motor Group has helped its customers, staff, suppliers and OEM partners get in the festive spirit with a 'Sing Your Heart Out' carols event at Chester Cathedral.
Nearly 1,000 of its staff and invited guests gathered at the centuries old cathedral for the 17th annual carols event organised by Mitchell, which has Mazda, Skoda and Lexus dealerships at Cheshire Oaks.
With music by singer and songwriter Lou Fellingham and her band, and a humorous Christmas message from former Blue Peter presenter Gemma Hunt,
The event and generous donations raised more than £8,500 for thea nnual shoebox to Eastern Europe appeal.
"Finished off with mulled wine and mince pies, and the wonderful funds raised, it made for a memorable evening in one of our nation's most ancient cathedrals," said managing director Mark Mitchell, who is a Deputy Lieutenant of Cheshire and a former High Sheriff of Cheshire.
In 2020 Mitchell won the AM Award for Business Leader of the Year in recognition of the continued success of Mitchell Motor Group.
