Jewelultra's Diamondbrite demonstrates the way forward in video promotion
Along with a multitude of changes within the auto industry, the most significant has been the transformative effect of web-based and digital communication. It’s revolutionised the retail environment and created a new relationship between customers and their dealerships.
As part of the digital mix, Jewelultra believes dealers need to embrace the use of video in all parts of their business and is a leading light in video promotion.
Diamondbrite goes digital
The company has been manufacturing the Diamondbrite Paint and Interior Protection process since the company’s launch in 1974, and their ‘It’s not magic, it’s Diamondbrite’ promo video brings the product alive for the digital generation.
In just 1.44 minutes, the video emphasises the features and benefits of Diamondbrite, while providing an immersive, entertaining experience for its audience to enjoy.
Unlike other videos that have been produced to promote Paint and Fabric protection, it engages the customer, rather than just going through the motions of demonstrating what the product does.
The new Diamondbrite video enhances the customer experience, promotes trust and generates confidence (the customer has actually seen the product in action, not just heard about it from a dealer). It presents genuine up-selling opportunities, converting more sales enquiries and creating more satisfied customers.
Dealership sales staff will feel compelled to show it to customers because they have engaged with it too and are excited to share this new idea.
Video play rising in retail
Video is becoming an increasing part of consumer habit and behaviour. On YouTube, every day, more than a billion hours of video is watched, and more than 70% of YouTube watch time comes from mobile devices.
Introducing Ultravision
As well as the new Diamondbrite ‘It’s not magic, It’s Diamondbrite’ video, Jewelultra has collaborated with industry supplier Vehicle Vision to launch ultravision.
Vehicle Vision developed the pioneering Audi Cam for Audi UK and the ultravision system provides personalised video presentations solutions for the automotive Sales and Aftersales environments.
In the car service process, ultravision allows dealers to present video clips of vehicles to customers online – while their vehicle is in the care of the service department. This simple system keeps the customer in control and up to date and can be accessed quickly on their computer, tablet or smartphone. When appropriate, the dealer may record a video that highlights any issues they want to share with the customer while carrying out checks on their vehicle and the areas they have checked to show them that the vehicle is in good working order.
The objective is to enhance the service that the dealer gives by improving the clarity and understanding of the work that has been carried out.
The system even has the ability for the dealer to quote for any work and the customer to authorise it.
In the car sales process, the ultravision system embraces human personalisation for the digital consumer. With personalised video presentations, Sales Advisors can support the customer through the pre and post stages of the buying process. It’s not only presenting the vehicle to the customer at enquiry stage –with a tailored video presentation – but also using video to enhance the customer experience at handover and other post sale touch points.
