The Independent Motor Dealers Association (IMDA) has launched a new partnership with sales and lead management platform Acceler8, to help dealers boost sales conversion rates and manage compliance.
Early trials of Dealerweb’s Acceler8, specifically designed for independent dealers, demonstrated a 4% uplift in enquiry-to-sales conversions.
IMDA’s chairman, and owner of Specialist Cars Stoke, Umesh Samani (pictured), said: “The IMDA set out to help guide dealers through the complex areas of compliance and give them a competitive edge with exclusive offers with carefully selected partners.
“We were impressed with the Acceler8 system and the results of its early trials and moved quickly to ensure our members can benefit.”

Users can also build an offer in the platform and integrate time-saving tools such as VRM lookup and valuation.
Dealerweb’s business development director, Lee Coomber, said: “Our new lead management tool is designed for independent dealers and allows them to manage enquiries from website to sale more efficiently.
"A proprietary appraisal tool also means more consistent valuations that give dealers an extra £100 per car on average.”
