Contract hire firm Grosvenor Leasing is targeting the friends and families of its customers for growth with a new personal contract hire (PCH) service.

It will provide a personal leasing solution directly to drivers and through client companies affinity schemes.

The new strategic alliance will see Grosvenor Leasing and Interactive Fleet Management customers benefiting from Select Car Leasing’s product, supported by Grosvenor’s advice, service and support.

Grosvenor opened dialogue with Select Car Leasing in 2017 to understand how the two companies could combine their skills to formulate a PCH partnership.

“This very special arrangement has been two years in the making, and of such importance that we’ve appointed a dedicated team within Grosvenor to run our PCH offering, operating from office space which has been co-branded Grosvenor and Select Car Leasing,” said Shaun Barritt, Grosvenor Group chief executive.

Grosvenor Leasing is the UK’s largest privately-owned contract hire and fleet management specialist.

Select Car Leasing had more than eight million visits to its website in 2019 and close to 20,000 people ordered a vehicle.

Mark Tongue, director of Select Car Leasing, said “Car leasing is seeing significant growth as private drivers see the clear benefits of taking a car lease over ownership."

Tongue said employees who have never had a company vehicle are also attracted by the benefits of leasing through affinity schemes, often enabling them to afford a car that was previously out of reach thanks to low deposits and attractive monthly rentals.
