Oodle Finance has been named named Lender of the Year at the 7th annual F&I Conference and Awards.

The ceremony, held in Leeds on October 19, saw Oodle Finance recognised for providing “innovative solutions to their dealer partners and to create the best customer experience possible”.

Oodle’s co-founder Jonny Clayton said: “I’m exceptionally proud of the team we have built and the incredible spirit we have cultivated to bring Oodle this far so quickly.

“We’re thrilled and honoured with this award, but this is just the start of our journey.

"I’m really excited by the product releases we’ve got on the horizon, each of which support our mission to provide innovative solutions to our dealer partners and to create the best customer experience possible.

“We’re using finance to change our industry and in our brave new world the customer comes first.

"This award very much endorses our intention to drive that positive change.”

The F&I Conference has welcomed delegates from the motor industry for the past six years and this year’s event, organised by DealTrak, was hosted in New Dock Hall, within the Royal Armouries complex in Leeds.

The conference theme was ‘achieving positive customer outcomes through technology and data’ and tackled key topics affecting the industry such as Artificial Intelligence and General Data Protection Regulation.

All proceeds from the not for profit event went to the F&I Conference and Awards’ charity of choice, the NSPCC.
