Eden Motor Group has celebrated the shining stars of its business with its annual Excellence Awards, recognising colleagues who exemplify the group’s values of commitment, excellence, and family spirit.

The black-tie event saw 22 winners from across the company honoured for their outstanding contributions during 2024. The event is notable for its peer-nomination approach, with over 400 submissions from colleagues nominating each other for recognition.

Eden Motor Group CEO Graeme Potts praised the winners and nominees for their dedication: “These awards recognise excellence at the very top level across our company and I hope our partners, their family and friends are very proud of the recipients. They represent all of the family-led values we strive for at Eden. While we handed out 22 awards, we could easily have honoured 40 or 60 - it’s a testament to the spirit within our teams.”

Among the night’s standout winners were Dan Michaelson-Yeates and Ryan Bull, who jointly received the CEO’s Special Award for their leadership and commercial insight. Both were promoted as divisional financial controllers at the close of 2023 and have since demonstrated expert financial and strategic support to Eden’s operations directors.

Also honoured was Pauline Britten, an accounts assistant with over 25 years of continuous service at Eden Reading Vauxhall. She was praised for her unwavering reliability and deep knowledge through her integral role within the business’s accounts function.

Caroline Dixon, lead support assistant, won an award for the second consecutive year. Known for her organisational skills and passion for helping both colleagues and customers, she is a key figure in the coordination of Eden’s internal projects and events.

Eden’s youngest award winner was Lilly Johnston, an 18-year-old apprentice aftersales advisor based at its Christchurch dealership. She has made a remarkable impact in just over a year with the company, impressing with her strong customer care skills and natural enthusiasm.

The Dealership of the Year accolade went to the Eden Reading Vauxhall team, whose consistent excellence set the benchmark across the group.

Each winner received an engraved crystal trophy, a £500 cash prize, and an overnight stay at the Bath venue with a guest—all funded by Eden as a token of appreciation.

Eden Motor Group, one of the largest dealer groups in the South of England, represents five brands across 21 dealerships throughout Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire, Somerset, and Devon.
