Unity Automotive expands in Coventry

Unity Automotive has expanded in Coventry with a standalone showroom representing the rapidly-growing MG brand.

Coventry MG has now opened at Pilot Park and the dealership welcomed local MG owners and fans down to a 'coffee and cars' morning last weekend.

Unity Automotive sales and marketing director Elliott Cartwright said: "We are delighted to be partnering with MG at this exciting time, as both Unity Automotive and MG Motor are growing rapidly.

"MG, especially with its electric models, is a brand that fits well into our business in the busy West Midlands, where the historic MG brand is well loved and regarded."

Unity first took on MG in 2019 at its Balsall Common dealership, halfway between Coventry and Solihull, which also represents Subaru, Isuzu and SsangYong.

MG Motor commercial director Guy Pigounakis said the Pilot Park new-build site, near the A46 Coventry bypass, is "a fantastic opportunity to work together on increasing MG’s market presence".

Pigounakis added: "The location is a great strategic fit for our network, helping us to reach an even wider customer base right in the heart of the country."

Unity Automotive, which won an AM Award for Sales Team of the Year in 2011 for its Cross Roads Garage business, now has dealerships in Coventry, Oxford, Leicester and Tredington representing marques including MG, Subaru, Isuzu, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Abarth, SsangYong, Fiat, Dodge and RAM.
