Wakefield independent car dealership Pure Cars has submitted plans to expand its premises.
It wants to build a showroom on a former car and lorry park beside its current base at Westgate in the town.
The expansion would provide more than 40 extra display spaces, according to the plan filed with Wakefield council, plus a 300sq m showroom, and electric vehicle charging bays.
Pure Cars, a trading brand of Cars2, which also operates franchised dealerships and is headed by Alan Otley.
The used car dealership, which retails prestige used cars, opened in 2018, the same year that Cars2 issued termination notice for its Peugeot franchise for the Barnsley market area.
Cars2 made £2.5m profit before tax from sales totalling £66m in 2018, according to Companies House records.
