Saltmarine Hyundai has committed to ‘be green in 2019’ with the delivery of five fully-electric Hyundai Ioniq models for its staff, alongside other green initiatives.

The Dungannon dealer group is promoting greener lifestyles, as it has 200 solar panels, six electric car charge points and low-energy lighting, alongside its delivery of electric vehicles (EVs) to its staff.

Saltmarine Hyundai’s dealer principal Michael Salt said: “We’re keen to help our customers be greener in 2019 and we’re showing our commitment to the cause by investing in the cleanest cars, plus green ways to generate power to help shrink our carbon footprint.

“Our staff are trained to help local motorists understand which sort of plug-in car could be right for them – so we look forward to helping more drivers to go green in 2019.”

The dealership is offering customers who take a 24-hour test drive in the new Hyundai Ioniq Electric the chance to win a stay at the fabulous Lough Finn Resort, Fermanagh by achieving the best score in the “Saltmarine Hyundai Electric Range Challenge”.

The initiative encourages drivers across Northern Ireland to do their bit for the environment, with the winner getting close to nature with a midweek stay in a luxury bubble dome at Lough Finn Resort complete with afternoon tea for two and pedal kayak experience.

Customers can also get an additional £500 off any new Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid or Plug-in Hybrid model if they take a test drive and purchase from January to March 2019 in the retailer's Try & Buy Event.
