Hepworth Honda team

Hepworth Honda celebrated the long-standing service of its employees with a trip to the Wetherby Races.

The team has worked a combined 300 years at the Huddersfield-based Honda dealership, which is part of the Hepworth Motor Group.

The longest serving employee is Martin Holbrook, a technician who has been at the dealership for 49 years. He is one of the longest serving technicians in the Honda UK dealer network.

Stephen Brighton, managing direct of Hepworth Honda, said: “At Hepworth Honda we want to celebrate the work and dedication of our staff, and we couldn’t think of a better way than a day trip to the Wetherby Races.

“It’s important for us to recognise individual team members and reward their loyalty. We believe that my father’s ethos is the reason why so many of our staff members have stayed with us for more than 20 years.”

Hepworth Honda was founded by Frank Brighton, in Kirkburton. He believed that if you look after your employees, in turn they will look after the customers.

Hepworth Honda sponsored the sixth race, which meant managing director Stephen Brighton presented the Hepworth Honda Celebration Handicap Trophy to the winner, Spanish Main.
