Santander Consumer Finance will make its debut at Aston Barclay’s Prees Heath fleet sale after adopting a second remarketing provider for the first time in a decade.

Santander Consumer Finance will be selling a range of voluntary terminations, repossessions and ex- PCP and PCH cars as part of Prees Heath’s fleet sale with the inclusion of 60 used cars in the site's January 17 sale.

It will continue to meet the monthly benchmark of 60 cars against its current auction company.

Santander Consumer Finance’s managing director, Vik Hill, said: “As we continue to grow our business the new benchmark sale makes sure we keep a more expansive eye on market prices and used demand.

“We also welcome the new App that Aston Barclay Group has launched to make it easier for buyers to source and purchase used vehicles at physical auction.

Aston Barclay’s group operations director Martin Potter (pictured) said: “We are pleased Santander has chosen Prees to launch its monthly benchmarking exercise. Investing in refurbishment prior to sale means Santander’s used stock is always of a high quality when it reaches auction.”

To cater for its “continued fleet sales growth” Aston Barclay will oversee the expansion of its Prees Heath site from six to 12.5 acres over the coming 12 months, after recent planning permission was granted by Shropshire Council, providing the centre with additional service opportunities.
