The Honda UK Fleet and SME operation has been awarded ‘best innovation in sales’ at the Professional Sales Awards (PSA) 2017.
The ceremony, held at De Vere’s Grand Connaught Rooms in London, saw Honda and its 12-year partner ROI recognised for innovation in B2B customer sales and engagement.
It commended the corporate team’s improvements in customer service, collaboration with the dealer network and an extensive uplift in sales.
The B2B practices has already seen a 348% increase in customer contact and a 49% increase in sales into this sector.
Honda UK’s fleet sales operations manager Marc Samuel (pictured) said: “This is a fantastic result for Jacqueline Rowe, our fleet engagement section manager, and Joe Sharkey, account director at ROI, and demonstrates how successful Honda is in engaging with corporate and SME customers.
“We truly believe in communicating with our customers in a way that suits their varied needs, with a virtual account management team using the phone, skype for business meetings and face-to-face discussions as required.
“The Best Innovation in Sales Award comes at a time when Honda is ramping up its corporate activity and we are already achieving many notable wins in both the corporate and SME market.”
