Havant-based Volvo dealer Cambridge Garage, is to redevelop its current premises following a significant investment in the facility.

The 6,300 sq ft site in Bedhampton Road will now undergo six months of development to increase its capacity to display eight cars in the showroom, including the multi award-winning 90 series range, and will be joined by the long-awaited new XC60 later this year, while incorporating Volvo Retail Experience (VRE), the Swedish manufacturer’s latest corporate makeover.

As Volvo continues to transform its design and brand direction, to enhance customer service levels, Cambridge Garage has also recruited Mitchell Hobbs (pictured) as product specialist, to guide customers through the buying and ownership experience.

Victoria Stringer, managing director of Cambridge Garage Havant, said: “Our six month redevelopment will be carried out in phases, starting with a new sales office and parts department, then moving onto the main showroom before finishing the workshop and external areas – including a brand new entrance where customers will be greeted by their own dedicated service advisor.”
