Horizon Honda has celebrated the official opening of its extensively refurbished showroom in Christchurch.

The privately-owned Dorset dealership, which has represented Honda in Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch for more than 40 years, has seen its Christchurch showroom transformed into a state-of-the-art retail store.

Richard Holmes, general manager at Horizon Honda, said: “The new showroom helps us to provide customers with the complete Honda experience, whether for familiar faces or someone who’s never visited us before.

“The significant investment we have made in the dealership shows our commitment to build a friendly and professional environment for car buyers in Christchurch.”  

Work on the premises started in mid-November and is set for completion in the coming days, coinciding with the launch of the all-new Honda Civic.        

As well as increasing the size of the showroom and outside display space, the facility now features a bigger, more comfortable lounge area featuring disabled access toilets, refreshments, TV and a customer information station with free Wi-Fi and exclusive children’s zone.

The showroom has been completely remodelled to display all models from the range, and outside now has an additional 20 used car display spaces as well as customer parking.
