Cumbrian dealer Lloyd Group achieved record turnover and profit in 2015, with the latter up 28%.
Turnover was £380.4 million with the previous high seen in 2014 at £323.3m (17.7%) for the Carlisle based business.
Profit before tax was £8.3m. In 2014 it was £6.5m (27.7%).
Return on sale went from 2.01% to 2.19% in the period. Staff numbers have increased from 701 to 766.
In July 2015 Lloyd bought the BMW/Mini Bateman of Lindale dealership.
Lloyd Motors is the largest prestige motor group covering Cumbria, North Lancashire and the south of Scotland.
The family-run business is approved dealers for BMW, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mini and Volvo.
The group also has five accident repair centres, corporate sales capability and a Honda bike centre.
