A team from Cox Motor Group has walked just over 42 miles from Keswick to Barrow in aid of the North West Air Ambulance Service.
The team (pictured) completed the Lake District walk in just over 13 hours, a very respectable time.
David Cox, managing director of Cox Motor Group, spoke about the walk and what spurred him and the other walkers on to complete it: “The whole event leaves me feeling so humble and quite emotional, especially when you see so many normal people like me and you putting in so much effort and pushing themselves through the pain barrier for a charity that means so much to them, and of course to so many others. It's incredible really.”
Cox Motor Group is on target to raise £6,000 this year for the donation/volunteer dependant North West Air Ambulance, bringing the total raised so far to over £25,000.
Cox Motor Group also gives the service a new Honda Jazz every six months.
