Burrells Motor Group has taken on the SsangYong franchise at its Barnby Dun Road showroom in Doncaster.

The business also operates the Isuzu franchise.

Peter Burrell, dealer principal of Burrells Motor Group, said: “SsangYong has a great range, and with very competitive pricing and a five year limitless mileage warranty on every car, we believe it will do extremely well in our area.”

SsangYong sales will reach 3,500 units by year-end and 5,000 in 2016, according to UK managing director Paul Williams.

The brand is seeing strong sales growth from its new Tivoli SUV.

SsangYong has 55 sales and service dealers (plus 17 authorised aftersales centres), and is looking to increase this to 65 by the end of 2015, and 75 by the end of 2016.
