Vantage Motor Group has been appointed Mazda dealer for the Oldham area.
Trading will initially be from a temporary showroom on the same site as the Hyundai Oldham centre, with plans to start building a new purpose built Mazda centre in the same location later this year.
The move sees Mazda join Toyota, Kia, Citroen, Honda, Hyundai, Skoda and Lexus in Vantage's portfolio and comes soon after the group acquired a Skoda site in Morecambe and extended its Honda representation with the acquisition of Honda Bradford earlier this year.
Vantage managing director Mark Robinson said "We are very excited about adding Mazda to the brands we are proud to represent, it couldn't be a better time as the Mazda brand continues to evolve by adding fantastic new products like the CX3 and all new MX5 (pictured)."
Over the past year Vantage Motor Group's turnover has grown from £65 million to more than £220m.
The group employs 500 people and has increased its number of sites from two in Yorkshire when it was established in 2003 to now having 22 sites across the North of England and the West Midlands.
