Suzuki GB has announced that Dale Wyatt, director of automobile, will retire in March 2025 after 17 successful years with the brand.

Wyatt has chosen to step down to focus on his health, well-being, and personal interests, while also exploring potential advisory roles within the automotive industry.

Takanori Suzuki, managing director of Suzuki GB, praised Wyatt's contributions: "Dale has been instrumental in driving our success in the UK and Ireland. His impact has been extraordinary, and he will be greatly missed by our team, dealers, customers, and the media."

Wyatt will continue to lead the automobile division until January 2025, when his successor, David Kateley, will take over.

Kateley, a 20-year veteran of the company, currently heads sales operations and has worked closely with Wyatt since 2014.

Wyatt expressed his pride in Suzuki's achievements and confidence in Kateley’s leadership: “I am proud of the business we’ve built, and I know David will lead it to new heights. I look forward to supporting him as he transitions into his role."

While stepping back, Wyatt plans to stay active in the automotive industry through advisory roles, pursuing both personal and professional goals.
