Payment platform Bumper has strengthened its leadership team with three new senior appointments as part of its strategy to accelerate growth in the UK and Europe.

Alfie Sansom joins as finance director, where he will oversee financial operations, credit and treasury management, tax structuring, and capital allocation. Previously head of finance at Conducktor, Sansom also held senior roles at PwC, Grant Thornton, and Sky.

Jonathan Westwood has been appointed head of legal and compliance. With extensive experience in international commercial contracts at Siemens and Experian, he joins from the Mortgage Advice Bureau, where he was head of legal. Westwood will lead Bumper’s risk, legal, and compliance functions as the company moves towards regulated status.

Shreenidhi Subramanian steps in as senior product manager. With a strong fintech background, she will focus on scaling Bumper’s product portfolio to support the company’s rapid expansion.

Ranked 281st in the FT1000 list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies, Bumper is also the 49th fastest-growing UK business across all sectors. Its workforce has expanded significantly, with 71 employees across the UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands, plus an additional 16 staff at its tech development center in Turkey.

Commenting on the new appointments, James Jackson, Bumper’s co-founder and CEO, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Alfie, Jonathan, and Shreenidhi to the team. Their combined expertise will be invaluable as we double the number of repairs facilitated by Bumper to 500,000 this year.”
