Family-run car dealer Batchelors of Ripon has expanded to take on the Mitsubishi franchise.

Batchelors Mitsubishi is based in the North Yorkshire town of Ripon, and becomes the fourth new Mitsubishi showroom to open in the UK in 2015, with more planned this year.

The dealership has taken on Reg Thompson as brand manager and will be looking to fill another three roles, including an apprentice technician.

Managing director Tony Denton said: “Adding Mitsubishi will mean more jobs for the local area and it will increase our turnover. It’s great news all round. We pride ourselves on delivering a friendly, honest and straightforward customer experience and our slogan is TLC, not PLC.”

Lance Bradley, managing director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said: “Batchelors have a well-established reputation for excellent service and we are delighted to have them on board. The growth of Mitsubishi Motors means we are attracting the best dealers from across the UK and Batchelors is no exception."

The single site group also has the Vauxhall and Suzuki new car franchises.
