Managing director at ICDP Steve Young is the latest speaker to be confirmed for the AM Aftermarket Conference 2015.
Young will be one of the first speakers taking the stage at the event, taking place on Thursday April 16 at the Crown Plaza Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire.
'Aftersales - today, tomorrow and beyond' is the theme, and the event will show how a changing world can present new opportunities in the aftersales arena.
Young will look at how changes in network structures and consumer behaviour will have an impact on franchised dealer businesses going forward.
Young said: "Franchised dealers will have more service-only points, be doing more work for the manufacturers on service plans, and face better informed and more demanding customers. Tried-and-tested methods and approaches will no longer work."
Young will look at these trends and what they point to for the sector over the next few years.
As well as a range of main stage speakers from the automotive sector and beyond, there will be workshops covering a wide variety of aftersales topics with the goal of helping franchised dealers become more profitable.
Further details on speakers and workshops will continue to be announced on the event website www.aftersalesconference.co.uk
