Manheim has invested with a six-figure sum to improve its Leeds auction centre.
Manheim Auctions Leeds, which has been operating on the same 17-acre site in Rothwell since 1963, re-launched in March 2014.
Formerly split into two separate auction halls with a dividing wall, Manheim has redeveloped its Leeds centre to allow for the creation of two distinct lanes within one open plan environment.
Buyers can move between simultaneous auctions, while sound-proofing ensures the noise is contained within each lane.
Chris Cush, Manheim operations director, said: “Alongside investment in a ‘sound baffle’ and directional speakers, Manheim has introduced LED lighting to better showcase the vehicles going through each lane, as well as upgraded wi-fi connectivity and digital information screens.
“The new screens will allow vendors greater opportunity to brand their sales with high-quality digital promotions and animations.”
Manheim launched the improvements at the Leeds site with a circus themed event.
