Sales and aftersales consultancy Impetus Automotive is opening new offices in Germany, Japan and China to support its growing portfolio of international and global clients.

To manage this growth, it has recently made changes to the senior management team; former executive chairman Julian Spooner (pictured) will step into the role of chief executive officer, while David Gorvett takes on the new role of managing director of international development.

Spooner said: “We are entering a very exciting stage of growth for the company. Although this creates tremendous opportunities, we are mindful of the critical need to consider ways to maintain and improve the levels of service we offer our current clients.

"We feel this change of structure is the best way to support both objectives."
